Paul Izak

Paul Izak was born and raised on the Hawaiian Islands and currently lives it up on the Island of Oahu.  Paul has been discovering his own voice and unique sound as a singer/songwriter since 2004. Paul’s musical style is best described as a folk, blues, rock, reggae combination. He also loves spontaneous creation of music with other musicians and can be found free flowing melodies and lyrics during live music yoga classes and in drum circles. Paul’s writing style is one of intention with songs from the heart that will lift the spirit. Paul also writes to spread awareness and has written songs about GMOs, the occupy movement, permaculture, and community building. Paul just released his third album called Everlasting Light, which was recorded with many other beautiful musicians that are humbly called ‘Seeds of Love’. Vocalist Anna Surrento has been singing with Paul for the last year and her own unique sound, style and vocal arrangements are a beautiful addition to Paul’s original sound. Together their harmonies and melodies are soothing and entrancing. Paul has been serenading farmers markets for the last few years in Hawaii and can be found singing acoustically with other talented musicians on a weekly basis.
